About Us

Sydelle Rubin-Dienstfrey is an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA). She earned her PhD in Art History from Boston University and her BA from Harvard University. Sydelle's experience in the art world spans three decades. She has conducted curatorial research for museums such as the Denver Art Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Addison Gallery of American Art; served as an adjunct professor at Boston University and the University of Colorado Boulder; published numerous scholarly articles and contributions to exhibition catalogues, and run the fine art department at an auction house for over 10 years. As the principal at Iris Art Appraisals LLC, Sydelle draws from these experiences to offer meticulously researched, objective, and confidential fine art appraisals and art advisory services.
